Recently John has begun to record his work in progress and to present it as an animation to show how his paintings develop.

      We endeavour to show as much of the painting at as high a detail as possible while still making the experience reasonably "quick".  However be under no illusions - these short sequences often represent literally MONTHS of painstaking work!

HELP with the Animations

The speed of playback is affected by how fast a connection you have to the Internet. The animation will work on any telephone/modem connection but a 56k modem is best. If your connection slows down - or you are on a slower than 56k modem - then the animation will slow down to allow the data to catch up. Newer animations will pre-load enough (you will see a progress bar) before playing.

Animations require that your browser has a flash media player installed. Nearly all browsers do. If your browser does NOT you will be directed to Macromedia's web site where you can automatically download the player for your browser.
